Last Days of School....

Hey Rachel (and everyone else)! This blog thing is a really cool idea. I've been keeping up with Rachel's blogspot, so it's really neat that we can share one too! I don't really have anything earth-shaking to tell, but I thought I would share my excitement about school getting out for the summer and add a few pics of our trip to the zoo. I still have four more days to go, but then it will all be done for three whole months! My first year has gone a lot better than I imagined. I've had a very challenging class, but I'll have to admit I will miss all their faces once they are gone. I come home every night with at least one funny story to tell Joe about one of my kids. We took a field trip to the KC zoo and I got some pretty cool pics. The kids LOVED it and so did I. It had been a long time since I'd been. Well thats all for now. Too hot to handle!

Hey everyone. Love the site so far! I have already created a photo album from my facebook site so I am placing a link here to some of my fire pictures. Most are of the damage and some of my burns/blisters. I would like to thank EVERYONE for all of your support but mostly for your prayers. My hand is healing really fast and all the blisters on my feet are already down and are starting to go away, I can walk flat-footed again and have been wearing shoes again. Even the doctor was surprised on how much my hand has healed in only one week. I cannot thank everyone enough for everything. I have learned a lot and have grown so much and I thank God everyday that I am alive. My burns could be sooo much worse or I could have passed out from smoke inhalation and not woke up at all! I have miles to go before I kick the bucket!

Lynette and I started a homeschooling group called L.I.F.E. (Learning In a Family Environment). Our first school year ended in May and we had a program. There were 4 families represented. This coming year we are doubling our numbers. The group is really growing. Below are pictures of the end of year program that we had in Granby Missouri at the Gospel Tabernacle. It was a patriotic theme. I played the piano and trombone. Molly sang, played the piano and recited. Madison sang and recited.
